Hybridity among Urbanized UPGs

People group identities, allegiances, and affinities become more layered and fluid in cities. Missionaries’ understanding of ethnicity, contextualization, and overall missions strategy need to evolve alongside the complex identities of global-urban migrants from unreached people groups. In this course, Chris Clayman will present the challenges and opportunities of reaching these global-urban migrants, and he’ll frame the presentation with the complex relationship of a Muslim-background Christian with her own people and the broader Body of Christ.
